My employers asked me if I were interested in doing their little boy's football team pictures! I was delighted to! Eleven adorable little boys along with a beautiful sky and green grass made for a really good time!!

 Today I had the great pleasure to photograph Jesse, Jessica, Hector and Anthony. What a beautiful family! This was my first family shoot and I had an amazing time. I learned incredibly much and cannot wait to share more of this family as I edit the pictures in the days to come. :)

Learning about editing

I have spent the last few days learning a bit more about photo editing and having so much fun doing so. I cannot wait to actually own photoshop, but for now I am using GIMP, which is a free, albeit powerful editing tool and I am enjoying it more and more. I took my favorite picture from yesterday and made it into an antique looking photograph. Thought I would share :)

The boys and I took a little walk today. Meet Hector, our new little friend, who comes to play with us a few days a week now. Isn't he just so sweet? I had so much fun taking these pictures! 

Beautiful Mount Magazine

We took a little road trip this past weekend to the highest point in the Natural State: Mount Magazine. It was a picture perfect day. Blue skies, butterflies as big as hands ( none of which I was able to capture! ) and views to die for. Here is a little glimpse into our day!

For this shot I laid down on my belly and slowly moved to the edge... felt like the end of the world!

Kuk Sool Won Demonstration

A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to photograph a demonstration by my Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts school (http://www.kuksoolwon-rogers.com/).

 It was a very hot day in mid June, but fun was had by all! I am so proud to be part of such a great school!
